10 Feb 2016 Adobe Stock Now with 4K Video

After introducing footage in their library last December, Adobe Stock recently informed contributors that they’ve added support for 4K video, matching industry price points and with a fixed royalty rate.

4K content is now live on Adobe Stock, giving customers the option to buy the 4K version of the available HD clips. The clips are priced at $199 each and will earn contributors a flat 35% royalty.

The company repeated their call for video submissions issued back when they introduced video, and mentioned it again in their predictions for 2016.

Adobe Stock’s 4K price matches the offer of Pond5, Shutterstock, Videoblocks and Dissolve, among others. CanStockPhoto has just announced the adding of this content last, and their estimated price point is said to be between $100 and $200 –considering both 4K and 4K+ resolutions.
