Amanda grew up in various outback and tropical towns along the Queensland coast, moving around for her father’s work as a fish breeder. She earned a degree in Information Technology and joined the workforce with various jobs. Frustrated working for others, she became a freelance photo retoucher before discovering iStockphoto.

She soon wound down her photo retouching business to focus on microstock full time. Since then she has created many top-selling photos and built up her photographic resources, including studio. She is now ranked among the top selling contributors at iStockphoto.
