LuckyOliver Lowers Payout Threshold
Posted by Lee Torrens
LuckyOliver now have one of the lowest payout thresholds in the market at just $25. Added to that, they’re allowing all contributors with more than $1 (yes, one dollar) of accrued earnings to take a payout “on Valentines Day this year and every year”.
SnapVillage has the lowest threshold at $10, with all royalties paid out at the end of each calendar year.
LuckyOliver CEO, Bryan Zmijewski, said in the announcement that the change is designed to encourage hobbyist contributors with smaller portfolios who may not reach payout as often as they’d like.
The change will actually be welcomed by all contributors as at all newer agencies the previous threshold of $100 is not always reached every month, even by contributors with large portfolios.
Update: This post initially stated that LuckyOliver had the lowest threshold in the market, which I changed after being reminded about SnapVillage.

It’s just as well. I’ve had $5 in sales in as many months, with a 200+ portfolio. Lucky for them they have a cool site and an easy upload process, otherwise I wouldn’t bother.
100+ portfolio at LO and $0 sales …
Hi Lee:
I see my photo in your blog, you pay for the images or not and refer to the image in bank?

Hi Alejandro,
Yes, I pay for all the images used on my blog with the exception of some thumbnails. I link all the images to a page where it’s available to buy. This is usually the agency I mention in the post, but sometimes I buy on one site and link to another. For this article I purchased the photo at LuckyOliver and linked it to LuckyOliver.
Thanks for the photo. It was exactly what I was looking for!

Hey Lee, thanks for the mention.
As far as payout, we are doing the $1 payout every year, so unless Snap Village does this, I still think we have the lowest threshold.
