SnapVillage

The largest news this month, indeed the year, was the launch of the Corbis offering to the microstock market, SnapVillage.

Fotolia upgrade didn’t go as planned. They still had time to partner with EveryStockPhoto.

iStockphoto

iStockphoto introduced a new category system and added extra languages. Exclusive contributor Lise Gagné passed 500,000 sales (link to PDF).

ShutterStock

ShutterStock added image number 2 million to their portfolio and gave their contributors access to press passes.

Dreamstime

Dreamstime added its commercial images to an established partnership with PicFindr which until now only included Dreamstime’s free images.

LuckyOliver

LuckyOliver partnered with PictureSandbox, Pixsy, and ImageTrail to expand their distribution channels.
